Star Trek, Doctor Who, music, mysteries including several Hard Case Crime books, some Lovecraftian stuff, some Philip K. Dick, some literary fiction, a fair number of graphic novels, some good new fantasy and SF... and a Coronation Street novelization. Not a bad mix. Tagged some of the titles to get a sense of trends. As has probably been the case for some time, there's more Doctor Who than Star Trek, and more crime fiction than non tie-in science fiction or fantasy.

There've been "Corrie" novels for how long?

Three were published back around 1976, adapting some of the early 1960s stories. There have been a few others more recently, like the epic novel first published for the 30th anniversary adapting some of the major stories over the years that's apparently been updated a few times to include more recent stuff. There are also a few historical novels set during WWI and WW2. I've only read the first edition of the epic novel and the first of the trilogy. Unsurprisingly, it's not easy to novelize a show with a huge cast and a bunch of intermingling storylines that don't all start and end at the same time.

I read this one because of the return of the character Dennis Tanner after a few decades. Will probably read the next two books eventually.
